“My Girl” Styled Shoot

Sundays are fun days!

Especially when you can get together with a group of creatives + 6 kids for a photoshoot!

Lina from Chanele Rose Flowers & Events contacted me months ago about a shoot inspiration she had in mind.

Remember that 1991 classic movie with McCaulay Culkin about an unbreakable friendship between a young boy and girl? I was just a toddler when that movie came out, but remember watching it when.. well, I learned to appreciate movies! So its definitely a memorable one, and glad to have it be the inspiration behind our recent photoshoot!

Beautifully styled by Chanele Rose Flowers & Events with the help and contribution of fellow creatives (credits at the end!) We hope that this will be great inspiration for the little ones on your big day or other special occasions!

We were so fortunate to have beautiful little girl dresses from Tea Princess and stunning little boy suits from Blame the Baby! Highly recommended if you are still on the look out for your flower girl dresses / page boy suits! and course flowers by Chanele Rose Flowers & Events!

Weddings ~ Shirley & William

Hai guys! Just returned a few days ago from my Singapore trip and slowly getting back into ‘work’ whilst tackling cravings of fine Singaporean food. Anyhows, here’s a late post -

I had the opportunity to photograph Shirley & William’s wedding just a month ago.

I love Chinese weddings that begins the day with lots of laughs, mainly because of the fun morning festivities where boys need to please the girls! I have to say William and his boys were up for a tough one! Not only do they have to bribe the girls with money in order for them to let you in but also had to face the many obstacles and challenges they had organised.

At this particular wedding; the noteworthy games were:

1. Finding hidden clues with trivial questions written in them; must answer as much questions possible.

2. Must ‘eat’ through a coffee table of rice balls (covered in either chilli or chocolate) to find a red button in order to complete that challenge. No hands allowed. Mouths only.

3. After the above challenge; brush teeth with ‘wasabi’ toothpaste.

4. Must kiss whatever the groom pulls out at the end of the red strings (including – toilet brush, fortunately the girls weren’t all that evil and had new toilet brushes for them to kiss), Shirley is written once amongst the chances.

5. Write a poem while doing push ups. So boys, either used their mouth or one hand to hold the pen.

Ceremony took place at the beautiful Little Bay Chapel; it was my 2nd wedding ceremony there this year!

When the bells ring, you know what that means!

Was kept entertained from the day to the night with the abundance of laugh-worthy games – got my dose of laughter for the day from this!

Engaged ~ Shirley & William

Sundays at Camp cove; while families and friends soaked in the sun on the beach, we strolled around with this loving couple; Shirley & William for their pre-wed photos (They got married about 2 weeks ago!). We were prepared for an afternoon filled with lots of hugs and kisses! .. as you’re about to see. I adore this couple, and believe they are perfect for each other. So very happy for them to have tied the knot !

We also covered their wedding, and I can’t wait to share that with you all! Possibly next week :)
