Tall grass, soft pastels, pinks, and florals highlighted one December afternoon…

Back in December, Bailie invited me to participate in a photoshoot organised by Candice to promote her new accessories collection for Spring/Summer. I met Candice at another collaborated photoshoot in November, as the hair stylist for that shoot, overtime I learnt that she sells handmade accessories for special occasions. I love her floral accessories, perfect for the girly girl :) So was glad I got to take part!

A Series of Romance 01

I’ve had quite a hectic past weekend; photographing beautiful people sums it up! Had a 12 hour wedding to shoot on Saturday (which I will blog about later!) and Sunday Bailie invited me along to a collaboration shoot between him and a few others! Collaborations are fun, it’s amusing and exciting to see what people bring to the set, in terms of creativity!

I loved everything about this shoot, from location, styling, fashion, hair, make up, flowers! and overall just the people who participated! And so fortunate that the weather was sunny, beautiful and no hint of grey clouds! (I’ve lately learned to have less expectations on Sydney weather =/)

There’s about three different ‘scenes’, so you won’t expect to see all three in one post ;) it’ll be queued up one after the other ! :P Suspense is awesome.

Before I photo-spam, I’d like to specially credit those who contributed their efforts to this photoshoot, and a great Sunday afternoon! (And you should most definitely click and check out other stuff they’ve done! impressive!)

Love the coral coloured dress Amber is wearing! The movement of the dress is beautiful!

I learnt that these ‘corsages’ for the boys are called buttonholes!

Beautiful and interesting assortment of flowers! Love flowers that are out of the ordinary!

Gotta love the bling in this bouquet!

That’s all for tonight! If you want to see more, you may have to wait for another day :) It was hard to pick out just a few shots that highlight this series! And as I said before, I loved every detail of this shoot, so I try to show those off!

My favourite shot from the photo shoot with Lydia just a few month’s ago…

These shots were taken with film; my Canon AE-1 (can’t remember what film I had in there..)

I really love the colours reproduced here, the tones of the film really worked in favour with the atmosphere in this shoot.

Something I’d love to do more.. that is photograph a subject using film, I find it more beautiful and ‘real’ than digital shots.
