Tangled.. the Wedding
So continuing on with the Tangled love story…
The Tangled movie ended with a happy ending of course, but we didn’t exactly see the complete happy ending..
That is the Wedding!
So we came up with our version of the Tangled wedding <3
.. and this happy ending took place at Tumbling Waters Retreat in Stanwell Tops, near Royal National Park.
Rapunzel weds Eugene (Flynn Ryder) :)
Rapunzel (April Healy) wearing Twilight dress by Brides Desire from Penrith Bridal Centre
How beautiful is the view from here?!
Heels blinged up with Swarovski crystals by Crystal Couture – after seeing these.. I almost want to ditch the red wedding shoes idea (for my future-wedding hehe).. for some blingbling! yay, nay??
and a Happy ending it is.. for Rapunzel and Flynn… and for us!!
It got super cold near the end of the day; we were wrapped up in our thick jackets and our Rapunzel braved the cold in a wedding dress!
It’s been a while since I’ve collaborated in styled shoots as such; and it was a great pleasure to have been able to work with a brilliant team of creatives! I’m hoping you all love the results of this photoshoot as much as I do! :)
May the little details throughout the shoot have inspired you for your next event; Wedding, Engagement or just Paartay!
Again; the shoot wouldn’t have turned out so beautifully if it wasn’t for the contributions from:

Tangled.. in Love~
Rapunzel.. Rapunzel.. Let down your hair…!
The story of Rapunzel brings back lovely childhood memories; I clearly remember watching an old Rapunzel clay animation movie on repeat. It wasn’t until the release of the Tangled movie, had I realize that is the one fairytale Disney never made a movie of.
Anyway, two months ago I contacted Lina from Chanele Rose & Styling with the idea of recreating Tangled scenes in a photo shoot. It so happened that she shared the same passion for the movie and always wanted to do a shoot around that theme as well! We’ve invited several other creative minds to participate in bringing this story to life…
The day came around, lots of surprises in all aspects of the shoot! From styling, floral artistry, dresses, make up, hair and the romance between our Rapunzel and Flynn Rider…
It was a long day.. and this is just the beginning of the story…
Hessian, Lace and Pearls were one of the main components of the styling
Pastel pinks, purples, white and green
We were fortunate to have Alicia to be our little Rapunzel for the day; it’s such a little girls’ dream come true!
To be a princess for a day…
We were inspired by the hair styling of Rapunzel in Tangled with the flowers in her braided hair.
Such a pretty idea for flower girls’ hair :)
.. and how gorgeous are Alicia’s blue eyes!!
The soft pink ‘tent’ adorned with doilies, and beads represented the the tower in which Rapunzel was trapped in most of her life
Again, Hessian and Lace for this little flower girls basket, such a fresh idea don’t you think??
Now here’s another idea for your flower girls
Imagine your little flower girl walking down the aisle, not with a bunch of flowers but with a love heart adorned with flowers?
We’re allowed to stray away from someee wedding traditions right? hehe
And before she turned 18… a stranger named Flynn Ryder found his way into her tower.. helped her escape… into the real world…
It was -hatred- at first sight …
… and love eventually blossomed between them <3

We found ourselves a little boat, to recreate the romantic boat scene … during the day..
… and the story doesn’t end here!
We’ve created our own ending to the Tangled loved story… which I shall blog about in the next 24 hours :)
come back for more later dudettes!

Back blogging again in less than 24hrs! I’m doin well right?
Only because I have something exciting to share!
If you follow me on twitter or a friend on facebook, you would’ve seen my excited tweets last Friday (25/03/11) when I picked up this month’s Modern Wedding magazine, the 50th Collectors Edition..
Okay we’ll start from the beginning…
Just last October, Bailie asked me to join him on a collaboration shoot with a creative bunch of people! I’m always up for collaborations, I love meeting new people especially if we’re on the same channel ;)
The shoot about to follow is the 2nd part (of 3) following the Spring/Series of Romance shoot I posted here months ago
Shoot was fun, and a success. We were all fond of the results from the shoot. Then a week or two later, we were contacted by Modern Wedding Magazine, requesting Bailie and I to submit photos from that shoot for an upcoming issue. I swear I got goosebumps when I read the email..
Can you believe it, that was atleast 4 months ago? We’ve patiently waited for 4 months! And I’ve managed to keep quiet about it, because I didn’t want to have too much expectations like.. what if it ends up being one tiny photo on a page…
Then just 2 weeks ago, Modern Wedding contacted us again telling us that our shoot will be featured in this month’s issue. Details were kept minimal. So only until I picked up a copy last friday had I found… we had a 4 page spread!
It was so awesome that we got into the special 50th edition; it was well worth it as well for $15.50 you get THE magazine along with 3 FREE magazines! The supplements have super nice wedding ideas too! *BRIDE-TO-BE’s.. go get it!*

Pull out the Styling Handbook… (and may I add, another of Bailie‘s photo graces the cover :D)

Flip to page 60, and you’ll see our beautiful collaborated shoot :D

..across 4 pages!

The creative team who took care of every bit of detail!

I thought I’d pick out my favourite shots from the shoot, so you guys can see more :D since the magazine spread mainly showed details..

Notice the detail on the parasol/umbrella handle? Only during the shoot had I found out its a new trend that brides are trading bouquets for parasols embellished with flowers :D There’s also another set of flowers at the top of the parasol!
